Telling A Story Through Photography: Evelyn Sosa in Vistar Mag
“My father was a photographer. Since I was little I was surrounded by cameras and family portraits. I always had a compulsive need to photograph everything. Analog, video, compact cameras, anything that will leave me with a memory. A great friend, Silvia, helped me a lot, somehow she directed me. ”
It was the course taught by El Chino Arcos at the Union of Writers and Artists of Cuba that opened the doors to the professional world. “I think I have a lot to learn and develop to ensure that I find my own way of communicating. So far it has been the result of a lot of work, constantly being attentive to what I do. The more I work, the more I know myself, the more I discover what satisfies me. The result is what I always look for. ”
